Before you go
What time should I arrive on Thursday?
Check-in at The Loren at Lady Bird Lake begins at 4pm on Thursday, October 14. Dinner at Loro is planned for 6:30pm; confirm the reservation closer to the date.
How do I get from the airport to the hotel?
The Loren is about nine miles from Austin-Bergstrom International Airport. Rideshare travel time varies with traffic, so allow a buffer.
What should I wear?
Daytime calls for comfortable shoes and breathable layers. Dinner is a little more polished. The Outfit Guide uses white, blush and neutrals as a loose direction rather than a dress code.
Do I need cash?
A card should work for the planned locations. Barton Springs Pool accepts admission payment; verify current entry and ticket information before the visit.
At the hotel
How will I get my room information?
The hotel will confirm room availability at check-in, and rooming details will come through the group chat.
Is food available at the hotel?
The Loren has on-site dining at the Café and Nido. Check the current hours and make reservations where needed.
During the trip
How are we getting around?
Plan on rideshare for off-site reservations and walking for the lake trail. Build in 15 minutes before each start time on the itinerary.
I'm running late or lost. Who do I text?
Text the group chat so everyone sees it, or reach out to June, our Maid of Honor, directly.
When do we leave on Sunday?
Check-out is planned for 10am, brunch at Nido follows at 10:30am, and departures begin around noon. Book flights with a comfortable buffer.
How do I pay my share?
Use the group's preferred expense-sharing plan and settle any shared costs after the weekend.
